DEEPER WALK FAITH

I have known Jesus and have been a Christian for as long as I can remember.  However, at the age of 14, I formally and publicly professed my faith in Jesus Christ.  I admitted then as I do now that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I firmly believe that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. And, that no one comes to the Father/God except through His son, Jesus Christ.

As a result of my faith in Him, Jesus calls me His friend and He provides me with a Helper, the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives me power and enables me to do the good work He calls me to. So, if anything good comes of this blog all the glory and praise belong to Jesus.

My husband, Mike, and I have been married for nearly forty-three years. Together we have two amazing sons and through our marriage, I have a beautiful daughter. 

Professionally you could say I am the dictionary definition of a Jack of all trades. I have been blessed to have several great careers. They have ranged from mortgage banking, financial planning, and insurance to interior designing. I have owned two businesses on my own and for the past 14 years, Mike and I have owned a grocery store.

Throughout my Christian adult life, I have enjoyed serving in our church. My areas of service include running children’s weekly programs, vacation bible schools, Christmas plays and programs, and Easter plays and programs, and teaching Sunday School.   I have led women in bible studies and Mike and I have hosted weekly home fellowship groups. For me, joy and satisfaction come from helping others grow in faith.   And, through this blog, I look forward to assisting others in developing a deeper walk of faith.
